I consider myself a very scientific/fact driven person yet I found my trip to Machu Picchu extremely energetic, spiritual and mystical. People from Cusco welcome me with open arms, always eager to help you get around and to share stories about their heritage. The scenery took my breath away; I have never seen bluer skies or more beautiful mountains. I was also pleasantly surprised by the food and the night life. The square in Cusco is filled with restaurants and pubs from people from all over the world. Some hidden around small picturesque streets that wind around the city. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who likes the outdoors.
